2- Devendra Jhajharia

He is a Paralympic javelin thrower from India and one of the Indian Paralympians to win back-to-back gold at the Paralympics. Devendra won a second gold in the same event and broke his previous record.

3- Naresh Kumar Sharma

At the Rio Paralympics event in 2016, the Indian shooter Naresh Sharma became one of the first Indian Paralympic athletes to book his berth.

4- Varun Singh Bhati

He is one of the Para high jumpers, having been affected by Poliomyelitis at a small age. Varun Bhati connected with sports in his school days. In the Asian Para Games of 2014 held at Incheon, Varun came out to be in the 5th position.

5- Deepa Malik

She comes at the place of the first Indian woman to achieve a medal at the Paralympic Games. She won a Silver at the Summer Paralympics of 2016 in the shot put event.

6- Suyash Jadhav

He is an Indian Para swimmer who competes in the category of S7. Suyash has the ‘A’ qualifying label for the Paralympics in Rio of 2016 and is better to be one of the only Indian Para swimmers to do so much.

7- Ankur Dhama

He is India’s first blind athlete in the last 30 years who has competed in Paralympics in the year 2016 at Rio De Janeiro. Ankur is a MA student at Delhi University and he took part in a middle distance race in the Paralympics and won many medals.

8- Karamjyoti Dalal

He is an Indian para-athlete who achieved a bronze medal after giving an appearance in the World Para Athletics Championships held in London and made the nation proud.

9- Rinku Hooda

He is just 17 years old Indian para javelin thrower who participated in the category of F-46. He was a prominent member of the Indian team also at the Summer Paralympic Games in the year 2016 in Rio de Janeiro.

10- Rajinder Singh

Last but not the least, India’s outstanding para-athlete is Rajinder Singh, an Outstanding Paralympic powerlifter. Rajinder achieved bronze at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in the category of 56 kg.
