Where will the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup be held?
South Africa, which recently hosted the inaugural Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup and saw India claim victory, will host the competition.
The majority of the matches, including the semifinals and championship game, will be played in Newlands in Cape Town, one of the country’s most stunning stadiums with a wonderful perspective of Table Mountain.
Five matches will be played at St George’s Park in Gqeberha over seven days, while several games will be held at the magnificent Boland Park in Paarl, less than an hour’s drive to the northeast.

Ten teams, separated into two groups, will compete in the tournament.

Every group member team competes against the other four teams once.
The top two teams from each group proceed to the semi-finals on February 23 and 24.
The final is scheduled for February 26 with a backup day on February 27.
On February 12th, Team India will face Pakistan in Cape Town to open its campaign.
As hosts, South Africa automatically advanced and was joined by the top seven nations in the ICC world rankings as of November 30, 2021.
This required 37 countries to compete for the final two seats in a series of qualifying, which Bangladesh and Ireland won. Thailand was not included in the 2020 calendar.
