2023 India Open men’s singles schedule, date, venue, fixtures, & first-round draw
Viktor Axelsen, the current world champion, will begin his India Open quest with a matchup against local favourite Kidambi Srikanth after extending his excellent form to win the Malaysia Open. Lakshya Sen, the seventh-seed, is matched up against fellow countryman HS Prannoy once more, and in front of his home crowd, he will be hungry to exact revenge for his Malaysia Open first-round defeat. Third-seeded Loh Kean Yew will compete against Malaysia Open runner-up Kodai Naraoka in a separate match.
Players will be more motivated than ever to win the India Open this year because it has been raised to BWF World Tour Super 750 starting in 2023.
