India’s 181 runs were not enough as Pakistan chased down the score with one ball remaining
The men in blue were off to a flier as they scored 60 runs in thier first 6 overs without a loss. Rohit and Rahul were looking in great touch but then Haris Rauf broke the partnership and since then India couldn’t have a single 50 runs Partnership. Virat Kohli did hold the innings from one end but he wasn’t able to send the out of the park on many occasions. He scored 60 off 40 deliveries and was the top scorer for India.
In reply, Pakistan lost their captain Babar Azam early but it was Rizwan’s show once again as he scored 71 off 51. Rizwan’s innings were much needed but the match-defining inning was played by Md Nawaz. He took calculated risks and jumped onto 42 runs in a flash. Pakistan played a masterstroke and sent him up the order and it played out well.

In the very crucial moment of the match when Ravi Bihsnoi was called to bowl the 18th over of the match. Asif Ali was on strike and was new at the crease at that time tried to whack the ball out of the park but ended up skying it up. Arsheep who was situated in the short third dropped a sitter. The whole crowd thought that he caught but it wasn’t.

After that catch drop, Asif Ali went on to score 17 off the next 6 deliveries. He smashed Bhuvi for a long six in the 19th over which took the momentum away from India. Apart from the catch drop, Arshdeep was very economical with the ball. He only conceded 27 runs in his 3.5 overs whereas Bhuvi, Pandya, and Chahal conceded over 40.
