YouTube star iShowSpeed tweeted his disappointment on Twitter after travelling from the US to watch Cristiano Ronaldo play, only for the Portuguese star to sit out due to illness
Speed had hoped to watch Ronaldo play during Manchester United’s match against Aston Villa on Thursday evening.

I’m About To Go And See Ronaldo
Speed who is a famous American YouTuber known for his crazy antics online strongly sees Cristiano Ronaldo as his idol. The 17-year-old has previously stated his desire to meet the Portuguese legend previously on several occasions.
Ronaldo was initially expected to play a key role in the match between Manchester United and Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup. Speed was extremely excited to watch his idol play in real life ahead of the game.
In fact, during a previous live stream, he shared how he was nervous to go and see his idol play. He further shared that he would get to see the person he loves the most, to whom he looks up to every day. Speed also confessed to watching Ronaldo’s highlights every day.
Ronaldo Sits Out Game Against Aston Villa Due To Illness
Despite all the excitement and preparations, Speed unfortunately did not get to meet Cristiano Ronaldo or see him play. Ronaldo did not include in the squad for the match against Aston Villa at Old Trafford.
Club manager Erik ten Hag confirmed before prior to the match that Ronaldo was ill and had not travelled. The Man Utd boss stated about Ronaldo:

ten Hag also replied to questions about Ronaldo’s availability for United’s weekend game against Fulham by stating:
It’s difficult to say how he recovers but I’m not worried.
I’m Crying Right Now
Following the disappointment on hearing about Ronaldo’s status, Speed posted a heartbreaking tweet to share his sadness. The 17-year-old was definitely distraught at not being able to see Ronaldo play at Old Trafford.
He tweeted:
I’m crying right now I flew all the way to Manchester to see Ronaldo and he not playing.
Thankfully, for Speed he enjoyed a moment of cheer when the Sky Sports cameras in the stadium zoomed in on him, displaying him on the big screen before the match.
The YouTube star quickly jumped up and waved towards the camera upon seeing himself on the big screen.
