Michael Slater, who is widely recognized as an Australian former cricketer and former television presenter is making headlines after he allegedly smashed his way into his ex-partner’s residence with his abusive messages to her now leaked

For the unfamiliar, as per the court documents, Michael Slater has forcefully entered the residence of his ex after a series of troubling messages. The 54-year-old even went ahead to engage in acts of physical violence as he punched, kicked and made threats to her life.

According to the reports, after Maroochydore Magistrates court denied him bail, Slater reportedly collapsed on Tuesday.

As per the official documents, Michael Slater is facing 19 charges related to alleged offenses on various occasions between December 5, 2023, and April 12, 2024. Ever since his arrest at the weekend, the former player has spent his days in the Maroochydore police watch house.

For those wondering, some of Michael’s violent acts were even captured on CCTV cameras at his ex-partner’s residence. A few include repeated verbal abuse, screaming obscenities and abuse that he did before forcefully entering the home.

After hearing the denial of his bail plea, Slater who was draped in prison attire, buried his face in his palms. As personnel from the Correctional Services were escorting him back to his cell, Slater crumpled as he was overcome by the weight of the situation.

The accusations against him are grave such as domestic violence charges, spanning unlawful stalking, intimidation, nighttime burglary, common assault, bodily harm, and suffocation.

In addition to all of these charges, he also faces charges of bail violation and breaching a domestic violence order, totaling ten counts. The Law enforcement arrested him from Noosa Heads at a Sunshine Coast location on Friday, following reports of domestic violence involving a woman with whom he briefly shared a relationship.

The unveiled documents now lay bare the startling magnitude of allegations against the once-celebrated Test cricket player. As per authorities, Slater’s messages allegedly include calling her ex as an “escort,” “s**t,* and “c**t.” He even went to threaten her with self-harm.

As per the police, Michael Slater is accused of writing, “Get f**ked, you’re a fraud, I’m going to hang my skull at the front of your house. How does that f**king feel you c**t? You f**king killed me.”

The officials alleged that Slater struck the woman in the face while she was seated on the couch at his residence. At the time, she went to his Noosa residence to check on his well-being after receiving a text from him in which he wrote, “I fell and think I’ve broken my rib.”

The former star made her eye swell up before reportedly kicking her in the leg and making her fall over. He reportedly even raised a vodka bottle on his head and said, “I’ll f**king kill you”

Following his debut on the 1993 Ashes tour, Slater graced the cricket field in 74 Tests for Australia, accumulating 5312 runs at an impressive average of 42.83, inclusive of 14 centuries.

Alongside his Test career, Slater also participated in 42 One Day Internationals for the Australian National cricket team. Subsequently, he became a part of the Australian squad that represented the 1996 Cricket World Cup.

In 2004, Slater bid farewell to cricket, venturing into a prosperous TV commentary career.
