The Kashmir Files, RRR, Major, and more movies will be shown at IFFI 2022, know the films list, dates and registration fees
The 53rd IFFI, which takes place in Goa from November 20 to November 28, 2022, will feature the chosen movies. “Hadinelentu” and “The Show Must Go On” will begin the feature film and non-feature segments, respectively, of the Indian Panorama part of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), which was announced on Saturday.

The 53rd edition of IFFI will be held from November 20– 28, 2022 in Goa/
i. International Competition for Feature Films (upto 15 numbers, three Indian Films will be selected for this section. Fiction Films with a duration of 70 minutes and above).
ii. Non-Competition (World Panorama) – for feature films from around the world (Fiction Films with a duration of 70 minutes and above).
iii. Indian Panorama – for Indian feature films, Panorama Regulations 2022 will be applicable.
Awards & Prizes
1. Best Film
i. A Cash prize of Rs. 40,00,000/- to be shared between the Director and Producer.
2. Best Director: Silver Peacock, Certificate and cash prize of Rs.15,00,000/-
3. Best Actor (Male): Silver Peacock, Certificate and cash prize of Rs. 10,00,000/-
4. Best Actor (Female): Silver Peacock, Certificate and cash prize of Rs. 10,00,000/-
5. Special Jury Award: Silver Peacock, Certificate and cash prize of Rs. 15,00,000/- given to a film.
6. Award for Best Debut Feature Film of a Director
i. Silver Peacock, certificate and cash prize of Rs 10,00,000/
7. Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Cinema consisting of a cash prize of Rs. 10,00,000/-, certificate, shawl, Medal (Silver Peacock) and a scroll, is conferred upon a master filmmaker / film technicians / film personalities for his / her outstanding contribution to cinema. The festival every year invites a filmmaker / film technicians / film personalities of repute for this award.
8. Indian Film Personality of the Year Award
This award consisting of a cash prize of Rs 10, 00,000/-, certificate, shawl and Medal (Silver Peacock) is conferred upon an Indian film personality for his/her outstanding contribution to Indian Cinema.
9. ICFT UNESCO – Gandhi Medal Award
The 53rd IFFI will feature the chosen movies.
In the two categories of feature and non-feature films, there are ten Hindi films, four films in Tamil and Telugu, two Bengali films, seven English films, three Kannada films, three Malayalam films, five Marathi films, and one film each in Maithili, Konkani, Manipuri, Sanskrit, Irula, Oriya, and Bhotiya.
Vinod Ganatra presided over the feature film jury, per a press release published by the Press Information Bureau. There were 12 people on the panel, including Sailesh Dave, Dr. Anuradha Singh, Ananda Jyothi, and A Karthik Raja.
The other films in the feature film category are “Mahananda,” “Three of Us,” “Siya,” “The Storyteller,” “Dhabari Quruvi,” “Naanu Kusuma,” “Lotus Blooms,” “Saudi Vellakka,” “Frame,” “Sher Shivraj,” “Ekda Kaay Zala,” “Pratikshya,” “Kurangu Pedal,” “Ki
Two of this year’s highest-grossing films, “The Kashmir Files” and “RRR,” together with “Tonic,” “Akhanda,” and “Dharmveer..Mukkam Post Thane,” will be featured in the segment’s “mainstream cinema area.” The jury for the non-feature category was chaired by Oinam Doren. The six-member panel for this section included P Umesh Naik, Manish Saini, Chandrasekhar A, and Harish Bhimani.
Pataal-Tee, Ayushman, Gurjana, Hatibondhu, Khajuraho, Anand Aur Mukti, Vibhajan Ki Vibhishka Unkahi Kahaniyan, Chhu Med Na Yul Med, Before I Die, Madhyantara, Wagro, Veetilekku, Beyond Blast, Rekha, Yaanam, and Little Wings are among the non-feature films on the list.
The National Film Development Corporation and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting are organising the Indian Panorama, which aims to choose both feature-length and non-feature films of “exceptional cinematic, thematic, and aesthetic brilliance.”
The festival’s signature event, Indian Panorama, was first created in 1978 as a way to use film to promote both Indian films and the nation’s rich culture and tradition.
