Ahead of the T20 World Cup 2021, Hardik Pandya sat down to talk about a string of things. And one part of his life and career he laid special emphasis on was his time on the TV talk show, Koffee with Karan ensuing which Pandya had ended up being suspended from the Indian cricket team.
Pandya went onto talk about how he was labelled as the bad boy of the Indian cricket team ensuing that incident with him revealing how cricketers he knew had ended up calling his career as finished. However, in the midst of the controversy he found himself embroiled in and at a time when people he knew turned against him, Pandya found support in the form of MS Dhoni.
Hardik Pandya Talks About His Relationship With MS Dhoni
The Indian cricketer has divulged a special moment he shared with MS Dhoni during India’s tour of New Zealand. Pandya who linked up with the team late owing to his suspension found himself in a pickle with there being no room vacancy in New Zealand at the time of his travel.
“MS was someone who understood me from the start: how I function, what kind of a person I am, what are the things I don’t like, everything. When I was picked for the New Zealand series, initially there were no hotel rooms
“But then I get a call, saying, “You just come. MS has told us, ‘I don’t sleep on the bed [in any case]. He will sleep on my bed and I will sleep on the floor,” Pandya said.
