When asked about the incident humorously referred to as the “robbery at the Santiago Bernabéu,” Darko Peric provided a light-hearted response to a Mundo Deportivo reporter.

The 46-year-old actor quipped, “I wasn’t called,” playfully distancing himself from being involved in the alleged “robbery.” Peric added, “I heard something happened, but I wasn’t called,” accompanied by laughter.

Darko Peric achieved global recognition for his role in Money Heist, a Spanish heist series drawing inspiration from films like Inside Man and Dog Day Afternoon.

Although the show initially did not garner widespread success in Spain, it later attained cult status after streaming on Netflix. Money Heist comprises three seasons, with a spinoff focusing on the character Berlin, portrayed by Pedro Alonso.
