The rating dropped by 2K Sports didn’t resonate with Kevin Durant who will be featuring on the cover of the 75th anniversary special edition of NBA 2K22
Although the game is still quite some time away with 10 September being the official launch of NBA 2K22, the ratings for a slew of names were released by the publishers of the premier basketball game on Wednesday. The fulcrums of the land of the showpiece league all saw their stats being released, ratings which have left quite a few people in angst.
One player in particular whose rating has not gone down well with both the ardent viewers of the league and the players partaking in it is Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant. Handed the 96 rating, in the game, KD saw LeBron James come out in his support with the Los Angeles Lakers’ player commenting on Twitter about how Durant should have been handed the 99 rating.
Kevin Durant Unimpressed With 96 Rating In NBA 2K22
A focal point of the Nets’ modus operandi come the playoffs last campaign and the bagpiper of Team USA’s gold medal triumph at the Tokyo Olympics, Durant has every right to feel bereaved about his rating. Whilst its not a straightforward task to make your name into the revered top spot, the general consensus is that Kevin Durant did more than enough to feature at the pinnacle.
