“I don’t like people who are cheeky,” Nikita Mazepin Continues To Hit Out At Haas Compatriot Mick Schumacher Ahead Of The Dutch Grand Prix 2021

Nikita Mazepin was left seething after Mick Schumacher decided to overtake him on Saturday during qualifying

Across the course of the ongoing season in F1, Nikita Mazepin has emerged as a meme, a driver who has universally irked everyone associated with the land of motorsports.

Its down to his waning skills as a driver with many claiming he’s only found a seat at Haas owing to his father’s rich coffers. However, Saturday saw people throw their weight behind the Russian as he found support for the antics his counterpart, Mick Schumacher had pulled off.

Mick’s decision to overtake Nikita resulted in not only Mazepin’s qualifying session being spoilt but also Sebastian Vettel being blocked. As both the Haas cars lined up infront of Vettel as Mick defied team orders, Vettel was left with no leeway to overtake.

While the race stewards have since gone onto clear both Mazepsin and Schumacher of any wrongdoing to see them stave off a potential grid penalty with Vettel defending the duo, it has done little to sooth Mazepin. The Haas driver has continued on his offensive, with him sparing no expense to make his feelings towards Mick evident.

Speaking to F1-Insider about Schumacher, Nikita went onto say: “I don’t like people who are cheeky and who show their true nature in the battle for 19th place.

“As long as I drive in Formula 1, I won’t tolerate that.

“When I overtook him in Imola in qualifying, he howled that it wasn’t possible. Nevertheless, he already overtook me in Spielberg and now again.”

Nikita has also gone onto take a swipe at Haas with him talking about how the team needed to use strongarm tactics to curb down on such antics.
