2022 Hylo Open Badminton Women’s Singles Results Today, Score, Winners, & Quarterfinal Draw
On Thursday, Indian women’s singles representatives in Hylo Open had contrasting fortunes as Aakarshi Kashyap suffered straight-set loss while Malvika Bansod advanced to quarterfinal with ease. Aakarshi lost her second-round tie against Dane shuttler Line Kjærsfeldt by score of 13-21, 14-21. Meanwhile, Malvika Bansod progressed to quarterfinal after her opponent Kirsty Gilmour retired mid-match due to injury. Malvika was on the brink of straight-set victory when her opponent retired with score-line reading 24-22, 19-7 in her favor. During quarterfinal stage on Friday, Malvika will play against unseeded Indonesian shuttler Mariska Tunjung in a challenging match-up.
