Carlos Corberรกn Vallet is a former youth player and coach in Spain. He is presently the head coach of Huddersfield Town in the Championship. He was born in Cheste, Valencian Community, on April 7, 1983 and is currently aged 39 years. Corberรกn was a young player for Valencia CF. At the age of 23, he opted to retire to follow his passion for coaching after only representing the team’s reserves and playing no further than Tercera Divisiรณn.
He was given a contract at Huddersfield in 2020 after the club agreed a compensation with Leeds United to bring Carlos on board till the 2023/24 season. Since December 22 2016, he has been married to Vanesa Mansilla.ย

Corberรกn, who was previously the head coach of Doxa and Ermis in the Cypriot First Division, made his coaching debut with Leeds United, where he served as first team assistant coach and manager of their under-23s team. Heย was named the new Leeds United under-23 manager on June 21, 2017, succeeding Jason Blunt, who had left the club. Corberรกn was elevated to first team coach and retained his post as head coach of the Under 23s with the appointment of new head coach Marcelo Bielsa in June 2018.
In his dual capacity as 1st Team Coach and Under 23 Head Coach, Corberรกn was part of Marcelo Bielsa’s backroom staff as Leeds secured achieved promotion to the Premier League and also won the EFL Championship for the 2019-20 season. Corberรกn was offered the post of head coach of Huddersfield Town in July 2020, which he accepted and was confirmed on July 23.
