The Punjab Kings are heading into the upcoming match with six points from nine matches and are currently placed in the eighth spot in the points table.
They have previously beaten CSK in their last five outings. Ahead of their upcoming match, PBKS played their last match against the Kolkata Knight Riders, where Punjab registered their highest successful run chase at the Eden Gardens after a series of four consecutive defeats.

The Kings will face off against Chennai Super Kings in their first high octane game on Sunday, May 5, with the match start time set at 3:30 PM IST. PBKS will then face off against the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday, May 9 at the same stadium, starting from 7:30 PM IST.

The upcoming match between the Punjab Kings and the Chennai Super Kings will take place at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. Following the upcoming game against CSK, the Punjab Kings will play their next two home games at the same stadium.

Notably, fans can purchase tickets for the upcoming encounter from the box office at HPCA Stadium, Gate 1A. the ticket sales began from 11 AM to 6, starting from May 1 onwards. The tickets are currently on sale on a first-come, first-serve basis; as such, interested fans need to purchase them quickly. Aside from purchasing physical tickets, fans can also book tickets online from the IPL’s official ticketing platforms. The ticket prices for the upcoming match start at around ₹3,500 and go up till ₹10,000, depending on the seating.
