The next campaign is scheduled to begin on March 5 with the Bahrain Grand Prix, know about the live streaming telecast of F1 2023 in India and how to watch Formula One in the country
Bahrain’s Grand Prix will serve as the first significant opening act of the 2023 Formula 1 season once testing is complete.
When Red Bull and Max Verstappen resolved their reliability difficulties, they absolutely dominated the 2022 season. Max was unbeatable with seven poles, 15 victories, and 17 podium finishes.
Ferrari made a strong start to the season in Bahrain, but things quickly fell apart. Around halfway through the season, Mercedes rose to become the second-best team.
How and where to watch formula one in India, F1 live streaming and telecast in 2023 details
Despite Alpine’s superior speed, McLaren and Alpine engaged in a close battle in the middle of the field. Recently, Aston Martin made a move to take the lead in the lower midfield. Fernando Alonso, who has led Aston Martin well in testing, will take over after Sebastian Vettel retires.
Additionally, Oscar Piastri has taken Daniel Ricciardo’s seat at McLaren. In contrast, Nicholas Latifi has been replaced by Logan Sargent at Williams, making him the first American driver on the grid since 2015.
No Official Broadcaster For Formula 1 In India
Sadly, Disney+ Hotstar no longer broadcasts Formula One (F1). There will therefore be no live streaming available for viewers in India and the subcontinent. Moreover, there won’t be a live telecast.
Instead, in advance of the 2023 season, Formula 1 introduced F1 TV Pro in India. F1 TV Pro, a digital platform, will stream every race, including practice and qualifying sessions, F1 Sprint competitions, and the Grand Prix.
The F1 TV subscription is significantly more expensive than the typical OTT subscription individuals in India use. The annual subscription for F1 TV Pro costs Rs. 2,499 in India, while the F1 TV Access plan is priced at Rs. 1,649. That is approximately three times as expensive as the standard annual plan for Hotstar.
Live telecasts are not included in the Access plan, whereas the Pro plan has numerous displays and camera angles (live and on-demand).
The Bahrain Grand Prix is free!
The first weekend of the season will be free, despite the financial issue and the fact that F1 broadcasting hasn’t really taken off in India. It is included in the free trial in order to eventually draw in subscribers.
F1 TV covers more than simply Formula 1. Formula 2 and Formula 3 will also have on-demand coverage included in the subscription. This allows Indian racing enthusiasts to catch up on Jehan Daruvala and Kush Maini’s weekends.
