What Is Honkai Impact Star Rail
Honkai Star Rail is the latest installment in the Honkai series from the developers at miHoYo, and it is the sequel to Honkai Impact (the same Chinese company that made the mega-hit Genshin Impact).
“An all-new strategy-RPG title in the Honkai series that takes players on a cosmic adventure across the stars,” according to the game’s official Twitter account.
Honkai Impact Star Rail Release Date
The entire Honkai Star Rail release date has yet to be determined, although the final version of the game is unlikely to arrive before mid-to-late 2022. Fans on Reddit have also projected a release date of 2023, which seems plausible.
After all, the first Honkai Star Rail beta test has only just begun, so there will be plenty of time for testing and tweaking before the entire edition of the game is ready for human consumption.

Honkai Star Rail Platforms And Devices
Honkai Star Rail is currently available on only two platforms: PC and iOS. To participate in the beta, you’ll need a Windows PC, an Apple iPhone, or an iPad.
Honkai Star Rail will also be coming to Android smartphones at some point, although it won’t be available on the Google Play Store just yet.
Honkai Star Rail, like Genshin Impact before it, could be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch at a later date, although none of those platforms have been confirmed as of yet.
How To Pre Order Honkai Star Rail
Honkai Star Rail is not currently available for pre-order, and it may never be. Honkai Star Rail, if it follows in the footsteps of Genshin Impact’s release, might be a free download with no upfront costs. However, there may be microtransactions in the game itself.
The Honkai Star Rail tale, based on what we’ve seen so far, involves colourful people, intergalactic travel, and a spacefaring locomotive known as the Astral Express (the conductor of which is named Pom-Pom).
The official description of the game’s unveiling trailer reads, “Each star we journey towards is the bright radiance of civilization,” which makes it sound like there’s some type of high fantasy sci-fi going on here. Based on the teaser, it appears that your character will be embarking on some action-packed adventures.
Gameplay
Honkai Star Rail’s fundamental gameplay concepts are also outlined on the game’s website. This turn-based RPG is said to have “thrilling, strategic combat,” as well as dungeon exploration where you’ll “uncover the Fragmentum’s secrets alongside your crew.”
We can’t confirm that because we haven’t been able to play the game yet, but the mention of a team could hint that there are multiplayer options in the game. Because everyone in the test is bound to secrecy, there are few specifics available, but some gameplay footage is starting to surface online.
