Fu also triumphed in the tenth, closing the gap to one frame at 4-5. However, O’Sullivan defeated Fu 6-4 in the tenth session with a total of 114 clearances, taking the match and the competition.

The Rocket defeated Ng On Yee in the initial round in front of 5,000 people. In front of 7,500 spectators, he went on to earn his spot in the final with a thrilling 6-4 victory over Robertson in the semifinals. O’Sullivan’s victory this evening is his first on the World Snooker Tour following the completion of his seventh World Championship victory, which tied an old record.
