An announcement made on Friday set a new launch date of February 10, 2023.
Warner Bros. Games Avalanche has stated that a release date for the Nintendo Switch game’s console version would be revealed at a later time.
Hogwarts Legacy’s social media channels published the most recent information, which included confirmation of the postponement and the new launch date. Hogwarts Legacy will be on most platforms for budding witches and wizards, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch.
What Is The New Release Date For Hogwarts Legacy?
Because not many games have yet been confirmed for a release in February 2023, this delay just about puts it beyond that window and into a month that is now very empty.
Although there was no official release date yet, leaks and rumours suggested that the game may have been intended to be released in December, precisely on December 6.

The game won’t be released anywhere around that timetable any longer, therefore it doesn’t matter that those specifics were never confirmed.
Warner Bros recently stated:
“Hogwarts Legacy will launch on February 10, 2023, for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC,” the latest update from Warner Bros. said. “The Nintendo Switch launch date will be revealed soon. The team is excited for you to play, but we need a little more time to deliver the best possible game experience.”
More recently, some gameplay footage from the game was released, showcasing a cutscene as well as character creation & customization features.
Although they were official game previews, those were presented as part of an industry event that showcased the game’s animations and other features; hence, even though they appeared on social media shortly after.
The Nintendo Switch release date for Hogwarts Legacy will be revealed later while the game will be available on February 10, 2023.
