The situation has changed since, according to reports from Austrian TV, Marko may have been the one who leaked the information to the media. According to ORF, the Austrian TV:

It is believed that he [Helmut Marko] was the one who leaked the chats to the press.

Following his qualifying run at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Christian said he was “surprised” to learn of Helmut Marko’s comments.

As part of an internal investigation, the Red Bull advisor stated that there was a “theoretical possibility” that he might be suspended; nevertheless, this didn’t happen.

Meanwhile, Marko stated to Austrian broadcaster ORF:

It’s such a complex issue. Again, we want peace in the team. This world championship will be difficult enough with 24 races and we have to concentrate on that.”

Max Verstappen’s father Joe Verstappen has expressed doubts about his son’s future with the Milton Keynes team amidst all of this, continuing to demand for Horner to resign. Reiterating his assertion that Horner’s continued tenure as team principal would be “bad” for Red Bull, Verstappen Sr. But he believes the British player will stay with the team for the entire season. He told Daily Mail:

All these things that are going on are having an influence on Max.

All we hear about is Horner and what happened with his situation.

He further said:

In the press conference, Horner gave the other day it was all about him and his problems when we should be talking about Max, the car, his performance and the race.

I’ve already said I think it is causing problems if he stays.”

When asked if Verstappen Sr. agreed with Horner’s request to “draw a line” in the situation during Thursday’s news conference, he stated:

“I think it’s a bit too late for that now.

He continued:

“If that’s what he wants, fine, but I don’t think it will be possible. I don’t want to talk too much more as it will create problems.”

Verstappen Sr is sympathetic with the women who accused Horner and has left everything on what happens in future.
