The GTA 6 Map is rumored to have been released online with the leak going viral
The Red Dead Redemption 2 map was leaked online long before the game’s release, as you may recall. Everyone felt the release was a hoax at the time, but it wasn’t. Now that the GTA 6 map has allegedly leaked online and no one believes it’s real. Some RDR2 fans are being a little more careful in dismissing the leak.
GTA 6 Leak Map Makes It Way Online Ahead Of The Game’s Release Date
The source of the leak is unknown, however, Boco, a purported Rockstar Games insider, shared it on Twitter and has since called it a hoax. And it’s most likely a hoax, but there’s always the possibility it’s true, and if it is, the game will transport players to South America.
GTA 6 Maps Leak Online, But Are They Genuine?
You may see the leak for yourself here. Again, it’s crucial to realize that not only is there nothing in this leak that implies it’s genuine. But even those who are giving it a chance believe it’s a hoax. Whether based on their own guess or “inside sources.”

The issue with the leak is that it’s hard to tell if the game’s map has been finished without knowing how far away it is in production. If the game is set to debut in 2023 or 2024, as many recent reports imply and what we’ve heard suggests then the map or at least the overall form of it, has likely been finished. It’s a little less likely if the game is further away.
At the time of publication, neither Rockstar Games nor anybody involved with the company has responded to any of this. We’ll update the story if this changes, but don’t bank on it because neither it nor its developers ever comment on rumors, reports, or leaks.
Rockstar eventually gave its followers what they wanted by introducing GTA 6 on February 4 this year, after years of waiting. This has merely resulted in a new round of leaks for the game. Just as how 2021 began with a new set of leaks. None of these have been confirmed as official by Rockstar or other reliable sources as of yet.
