The biggest story of the evening was Aspinall coming back from 2-1 down to defeat World Champion Wright as Groups E through H at the Aldersley Leisure Village wrapped up on a dramatic Day Four. Aspinall defeated Fallon Sherrock 5-2 earlier in the evening to win Group E on leg difference. The Stockport star advances alongside debutant Alan Soutar. Despite losing to in-form Ross Smith, Van Gerwen secured first place in Group G. Earlier that evening, Wattimena joined Clayton in winning Group F after punishing North American Champion Leonard Gates’ careless performance with a decisive 5-1 victory.
Beginning on Wednesday night, the Grand Slam’s round of 16 matches will kick-off starting with reigning champion Gerwyn Price taking on UK Open victor Danny Noppert and 2012 champion Raymond van Barneveld taking on Australia’s World Cup hero Simon Whitlock. Other matches feature face-off between Michael Smith and Rob Cross, and Masters champion Joe Cullen vs Dutch star Dirk van Duijvenbode for berth in the quarterfinal. As per format, all second-round matches will be played in best-of-19 legs method.

Prize Money Pool Distribution of 2022ย Grand Slam of Darts
The winner of 2022 Grand Slam of Darts will get ยฃ150,000 in prize money, and the runner-up will receive ยฃ70,000. From the ยฃ650,000 in net rewards, $5,000 will be awarded to each contestant. This year’s prize pool is bigger than last year’s, which was ยฃ550,000. The current world champion, Peter Wright, will receive ยฃ8,000 after failing to advance to the knockout stage and placing third in Group A, while Fallon Sharrock, who finished last, will receive $5,000.

When And Where to Watch: Live Stream And TV Telecast Coverage
Sky Sports in the UK will stream the Grand Slam of Darts live, and PDC’s international media partners DAZN, Viaplay, and PDCTV will stream it in all other nations. This competition will take place at the Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton from November 12 to November 20.
