They gave Ghislaine Maxwell 20 years and a $750k fine (which is nothing to her). And they STILL won’t release the Epstein client list. That’s criminal.

Maxwell, who was French-born, was brought up in Oxford. She studied at Oxford’s Balliol College in the 1980s, after which she rose to prominence in London’s social scene. Before moving to New York City, where she continued to live like a socialite and date Epstein, Maxwell worked for her father, Robert Maxwell, until his death in 1991.
Maxwell established a non-profit organisation to safeguard the oceans in 2012. Prosecutors accused Epstein of engaging in sex trafficking in July 2019, prompting the organisation to declare its closure that same month. In addition to his French and British citizenship, Maxwell has become a naturalised US citizen.
Due to her connections to Epstein, Maxwell was detained on July 2, 2020, and the federal authorities of the United States accused her of enticing children and trafficking underage females for sex. Due to her “totally opaque” money, her prowess at avoiding detection, and the fact that France does not extradite its residents, the judge refused her bail due to her flight risk. She was found guilty on five of the six counts on December 29, 2021, including one for sex trafficking.

The Pension Disgrace
While the “Lady Ghislaine” was stationed at Tenerife in November 1991, Ghislaine’s father’s body was found floating in the water close to the Canary Islands. She took off right away for Tenerife to act as Robert’s business partner.
Ghislaine refused to believe that her father had been murdered even if it was established that Robert had drowned accidentally.
Regarding the missing pension funds from “Mirror Group Newspapers,” Robert had been charged with a significant fraud. According to rumours, Robert used the money to keep his failing businesses afloat and to buy his family pleasures. Soon after her father passed away, Ghislaine relocated back to the US. She was seen travelling to the US in a lavish “Concorde,” which stoked the pension scandal even more.
Ghislaine relocated to a Central Park apartment in 1992. Her Iranian buddy was the owner of the apartment. She affirmed that “He (Robert) did not commit suicide” in 1997, when the pension problem was still being looked into.
Connection to Jeffrey Epstein
The Times reported that early in the 1990s, American businessman Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine had their first encounter in New York. Despite popular belief, none of the two ever explicitly confirmed their alleged love relationship.
Numerous Jeffrey’s household staff members claimed that Ghislaine was in charge of both his public and private lives in 2019, according to ‘The Wall Street Journal’.
She was even referred to as the “Lady of the House” and his “primary girlfriend.” Even the hiring and dismissal of new employees was handled by Ghislaine beginning in 1992.
Ghislaine made friends with Prince Andrew, Duke of York, Queen Elizabeth II’s younger son, at about the same time. She gained notoriety for being spotted in New York attending social events with Prince Andrew. Jeffrey was even presented to Prince Andrew by Ghislaine.
For coercing a youngster into prostitution in 2008, Jeffrey received a 13-month sentence. After he was let out of jail, Ghislaine and Jeffrey were no longer seen together in public, though she continued to go to social functions.
Controversies
Ghislaine was accused of forcing a lady named “Jane Doe 3” to have sex with Jeffrey and of trafficking other young girls into prostitution in a 2015 lawsuit filed in federal court in the Southern District of New York. The occurrence happened in 1999.
The claims that Ghislaine served as a supply for Jeffrey’s pleasure were denied by her spokesman and by Ghislaine. Additionally, she denied encouraging Prince Andrew to commit “acts of sexual assault.” Sarah Ransome once more accused Ghislaine of being pushed into prostitution in 2017. She stated that when she refused to satisfy Jeffrey’s sexual wants, he and Ghislaine had threatened her. That year, the matter was resolved with confidential terms.
The true identity of “Jane Doe 3” was made public in 2018. She was reportedly a woman by the name of Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who had first met Ghislaine in 1999 at Trump’s “Mar-a-Lago Club” in Palm Beach, Florida. Virginia claimed that Ghislaine had met Jeffrey through an introduction and later trained her to be an escort. Even about Jeffrey’s predilection for oral sex, she had told her.
After calling Virginia a liar, Ghislaine was once more accused of defamation by Virginia. The judgement was rendered in Virginia’s favour after a protracted court process. The settlement’s specifics, nevertheless, were never made public. Ghislaine had to reimburse Virginia financially.
Ghislaine withdrew from social gatherings in the midst of all these disputes. She obtained $15 million for the townhouse in April 2016. She was reported to be missing by 2017 since none of her attorneys claimed to be aware of her whereabouts and they even thought she didn’t have a fixed address at the time.
Maria Farmer, another complainant, accused Jeffrey and Ghislaine of sexually assaulting her and her 15-year-old sister in 1996 in an affidavit that was submitted on April 16 to a federal court in New York. Maria had reported the event to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the New York Police Department (NYPD) (FBI).
The documents from the civil lawsuit Virginia filed against Ghislaine must be made public, according to orders issued by the “United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit” on July 2, 2019. On July 6, 2019, Jeffrey was taken into custody at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey.
On July 17, 2019, Ghislaine filed an appeal for a new hearing in federal court in an effort to keep the records confidential. But only hours before Jeffrey committed suicide in his Manhattan jail cell on August 9, 2019, the first batch of the court records, totaling more than 2,000 pages, was made public (on August 10, 2019).
Ghislaine Maxwell has no children of her own but is reportedly the stepmother to her husband’s two children from his first marriage with her net worth standing at $20 million.
