Their fight started in 2020 after a Period artist ranted about Gabrielle’s stepdaughter, Zaya Wade, coming out.
Boosie Badazz On Daughter Of Gabrielle Union
Zaya is the daughter of Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade and his first wife, named Siohvaughn Funches and is the stepdaughter of Gabrielle Union. These two split in 2007 and then Gabrielle after her marriage in 2014 became Dwayne’s second wife.
The family showed support for the LGBTQ+ community after Dwayne revealed Zaya’s new chapter on Good Morning America in 2020, noting she had known about her transgender identity since she was just 3.
Boosie thought Zaya was quite young for such a life-changing decision and this thought was shared on Instagram as well.
Reports by Billboard stated, the rapper stated in the deleted video: “That is a male. A 12-year-old. At the age of 12, they don’t even know what their next meal gonna be. They don’t have s** figured out and he might meet a woman, anything at the age of 16 years, and fall in love with her. But his d* is gonna be gone.” The rapper, whose real name is, Torrence Ivy Hatch, furthermore: “If he gonna be gay, let him be gay. But don’t cut his d** off, bruuuh. Don’t dress him as a woman, dawg. He’s is just 12 years old and He’s not up there yet, as he hasn’t made his final decisions yet.”
Resurfaced Interview Of Gabrielle Union
Gabrielle’s interview with Jemele Hill on the 7th of November in 2021, during which the actress touched on supporting Zaya’s life as a transgender female has resurfaced.
Gabrielle stated: “He’s so preoccupied. It’s like thou doth protests too much the Lil Boose.” Gabrielle then appeared asking a question to the rapper’s sexuality, by further saying: “You got a lot of d***.”
