Money owed to some clubs
- Manchester United – €50 million for Romelu Lukaku
- Tottenham – €12 million for Christian Eriksen
- Hertha Berlin – €13 million for Valentino Lazaro
This is just a small breakdown of the €81 million debt that Inter Milan owes to other clubs and are unable to pay them back at this point in time. The Chinese owners of the club have stopped their investment in European football and will not promote the domestic league.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan are trying to generate some revenue through player sales and wage cut of the and players. The Italian club is trying everything in order to come out of this financial trouble but the problem is much worse than it looks on paper.
The Italian club are in negotiations with Tottenham over the possible transfer of their best player Lautaro Martinez who is a crucial player of the team. Other players like Skriniar, Barella, Alexis Sanchez, Christian Eriksen, and Ivan Perisic will look for new clubs.
