The 17th edition of the Championship League Snooker tournament 2021 is live right now and here’s all you need to know regarding the betting odds, prize money and live stream
The 2021 Championship League is the first tournament of the 2021-22 snooker season. It is taking place from 18th July to 13th August at the Morningside Arena in Leicester, England. Its latest staging features almost 128 players who will be earning prize money for every frame they win. Read on to know more.
2021 Betvictor Championship League Snooker Schedule And Prize Money
Upgraded to a ranking event, the tournament saw players initially competing in 32 groups of four players. Only the top player from each group will advance to the winners’ stage, consisting of eight groups of four players.
The eight winners from each of these eight groups will then advance into two final groups. The winners of these two group will then meet in the finals on the same day, the champion of which goes into the 2021 Champion of Champions.
Kyren Wilson is the two-time defending champion WHO defeated Mark Williams 3–2 in the final of the January to April edition of the tournament. Meanwhile, Judd Trump won 3–1 in the final of the September to October 2020 edition of the tournament. Following is the schedule and prize money for the same.
