How will Garena ensure data security?

Numerous apps have voiced concerns about data security, and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has already forbidden the usage of games like PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and others for the same reason. To get around the issue, Krafton released BGMI, a seperate version of PUBG that complies with all laws and regulations.

In a similar vein, Yotta and Garena have recently unveiled Free Fire India. Late in July, they signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Hiranandani Group business and another one with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to advance esports in the nation.

Free Fire India features

The game will, according to the statement, contain features and content designed especially for Indian users. In order to encourage safe and healthy gaming, the company has also developed a verification mechanism for parental oversight, particularly for gamers under the age of 18. Players will also get reminders to take breaks.

Professional esports athletes were most impacted by the country’s prohibition on the game. The esports ecosystem of the game is anticipated to become active again with the introduction of the Indian version, and Garena is probably going to host a number of events just for the Indian market.
