As Forest Green Rovers split ways with head coach Ian Burchnall, here are the top six candidates in the betting to take over as the club’s new next manager in League One and their odds
Burchnall, formerly the manager of Notts County, was hired in May when Rob Edwards left the club to become the head coach of Watford. Edwards took the job at Watford after Forest Green was promoted to League One.
Despite this, they have only managed to win five of their 28 league matches so far this season, and they are currently four points away from being safe. The departure of Ian Burchnall as head coach at Forest Green Rovers has been officially announced and will take immediate effect. The search for his successor will get under way as soon as possible.
