The 2023 Women’s World Cup will have more nations competing than ever before with 32 teams vying for the trophy.
More than 500,000 tickets for the event had already been sold, according to FIFA’s January report, with the final on August 20 witnessing the most demand.
FIFA moved the event to Stadium Australia, which has a capacity of over 80,000 people, due to the overwhelming demand for tickets to Australia’s opening group stage matchup versus the Republic of Ireland.
When will tickets go on sale for the 2023 Women’s World Cup?
During the initial sales period of the 2023 Women’s World Cup, which started on October 6, 2022, at 12:00 p.m., only multi-match packages were offered for purchase (AEDT).
This window was initially only available to Visa cardholders until becoming available to everyone on October 13.
The first sales phase ended on October 21, right before the group stage draw.
Then, on October 25 for Visa cardholders and November 2 for all other cardholders, a second sales period began and will go through March 3, 2023. During this phase, single-match tickets will be made available.
The final sales period will then begin on April 11 and run through the competition’s end or until all tickets have been purchased, whichever comes first.

How much will the 2023 Women’s World Cup tickets cost?
Individual match tickets for the 2023 Women’s World Cup start at $15 for kids and $30 for adults.
Tickets for the final game for the adults start at $40, while for the kids tickets are $20.
For the Matildas’ three group games, an Australian home team pass, for instance, costs $70 for adults and $35 for children, with category one adult passes costing up to $200.
A Sydney Football Stadium pass, on the other hand, costs between $80 and $160 for adults and includes seven matches, the most of any venue.

Only the FIFA ticketing platform will be able to sell official tickets for the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
