Match began with a high intensity as you would expect in a match of this stature. However, as both, teams were unable to break the deadlock, the intensity of the game kind of faded away. Therefore, resulting in extra time.
Amir Sayoud scored the first goal of the match on 99 minutes from a sensational strike that ruptured the net of Tunisia’s goal. Meanwhile, the final goal of the match came from Yacine Brahimi who sealed the deal for Algeria.
Meanwhile, Qatar finished third after defeating Egypt in the penalty shoot-out and closed out the podium finish. On the other hand, Algeria outclassed their opponents in the latter stages of the game and scored 2 goals to grab the title.

Yacine Brahimi secured the Golden Ball award at the FIFA Arab Cup 2021 for his wonderful goal-scoring form in the tournament. He was instrumental in Algeria’s victory over Tunisia in the final match of the tournament. Meanwhile, Seifeddine Jaziri earned the Golden Boot for becoming the top scorer of the tournament.
The final award was received by Algeria’s veteran goal-keeper Rais Mbolhi the Golden Glove who made sure that there is no opportunity for the opponents to strike a goal. He was a tall and commanding figure between the goal and was a key figure in the team.
