The FIDE Grand Prix 2022 is a chess tournament series that will take place between February 3 and April 4, 2022.
FIDE Belgrade Chess Grand Prix 2022 Leg 2 Schedule And Dates
The top two finishers will go to the Candidates Tournament 2022, the last round of qualification for the World Chess Championship 2023. Two tournaments will be held in Berlin, Germany, and one will be held in Belgrade, Serbia.
Currently, the second tournament of FIDE Grand Prix is taking place at Belgrade, Serbia. This tournament is scheduled to run from 1st March to 14th March. The matches will begin at 15:00 CET (19:30 IST) every day.
- March 1-7 – Group stage (with a rest day on Saturday, March 5)
- 8th March – Group stage tiebreaks (Weren’t Required)
- March 9-11 – Semi-finals (Tiebreaker on 11th)
- March 12-14 – Final

The winner of the tournament will get 13 points and the runner-up of the tournament will earn 10 points. These points will be calculated towards FIDE Grand Prix 2022.

Belgrade FIDE Chess Grand Prix 2022 Leg 2 Semi-Final Day 2 Results, Fixtures And Players List
GMs Dmitry Andreikin, Anish Giri, Richard Rapport, and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave advanced to the semifinals of the Belgrade Grand Prix 2022, with Andreikin and Giri meeting in one match and Rapport and Vachier-Lagrave meeting in the other.
The second leg of semi-final match between Rapport and Vachier-Lagrave at Belgrade Grand Prix 2022 ended as a tie, which allowed Rapport to win the semi-final with an aggregate score of 1.5-0.5.
Anish Giri and Andreikin played out another draw during their semi-final clash. After consecutive rounds, the semi-final tie between the two forced the two to the tie-breaker round.

The tie-breaker round of semi-final match between Anish Giri and Andreikin at Belgrade Grand Prix is scheduled to begin from 3 PM CET on 11th March. The final match will begin from 3 PM CET on 12th March between Rapport and the winner of tiebreaker between Anish-Andreikin.
