The Imola circuit, officially called the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo, will host the FIA WEC for the first time. Although it has never hosted the WEC, the Imola has previously hosted several endurance race events. Exactly 50 years ago, in 1974, the circuit hosted the 1000 km of Imola and then hosted a round of the European Le Mans Series from 2013 to 2016.

The circuit runs anti-clockwise and features a unique old-school feel as fans watch Hypercars around the 4.909-kilometre layout. The Imola is just one of the three anti-clockwise circuits on the 2024 WEC calendar, alongside the Interlagos in Sao Paulo (Brazil) and COTA (USA).
