The 62-year-old designer was taken to the hospital by model Suraj Dhalia as his condition quickly deteriorated. According to sources, his pacemaker gave him many shocks since his heart condition was getting worse, which made him unconscious.

Rohit Bal completed his schooling at DPS Mathura Road, Delhi. Afterward, he completed his history degree at the University of Delhi’s St. Stephens College. After that, he attended Delhi’s National Institute of Fashion Technology to study fashion.
