Formula 1 has a fairly long schedule every season because of which FIA introduced the summer break for everybody on and off the track to take some time off. This break allows everyone to recharge their battery who work continuously to make the F1 racing function smoothly.
A lot of people are involved in the sport who make it possible for Formula 1 to operate under such a tight schedule where races take part in every corner of the world. Big arrangements of logistics and every department except Marketing, Finance, and Legal department who do not interfere with the racing directly.

Every year, Formula 1 takes a break of 14 days which provides every employee of the F1 to take a break and forget about the track action. Meanwhile, workshops and factories are completely shutdown during this period for betterment of the Formula 1.
However, this short period is necessary for everybody involved in the F1 to get their minds off the rivalry and stress that comes with Formula 1. It is time for drivers and staff to spend some time with their families and return after 14 days for ultimate F1 action.
What does it mean?
Article 21.8 of the Sporting Regulations obliges all F1 teams to have a two-week shutdown period in August, where all the activities are restricted which are related to Formula 1 which means every corner of the factories and workshops are closed.
The shutdown helps Formula 1 to reduce their operational cost for a short period of time and provides its most valuable employees some time off from the tiring work. As a result, everybody return happy from their home and creates a healthy environment all around.
Every department that directly effects the car is in complete shutdown during this 14-day period which involved the design team, factory, and even suppliers of the parts are free from their work in the summer break.
When is the Belgium Formula 1 Grand Prix?
Formula 1 will travel to Belgium for the Belgian Grand Prix after the summer break with Lewis Hamilton sitting on the top of the summit after securing P2 in the Hungarian Grand Prix from P14. Meanwhile, max Verstappen will be looking to gain advantage over Lewis Hamilton at Spa.
