Qatar Grand Prix 2023 track specifications
The Lusail International Circuit in Qatar will host the upcoming races at the Qatar Grand Prix 2023 this weekend. The track circuit measures around 5.419km in length and features 57 laps, covering a distance of 308.611km. The track has previously hosted its first race back in 2021. Notably, the country signed a 10-year deal, which starts in 2023, which means that the track will host many more races in the near future.
F1 Drivers’ and Constructors Championships standings ahead of the Qatar GP 2023
Heading into the competition, Red Bull Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez continue to hold the two top spots. Two-time champion Verstappen tops the Drivers’ Standings with 400 points while Perez comes in second with 223 points. Behind them at third place is Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton with 190 points, followed by Fernando Alonso with 174 points. Carlos Sainz completes the top five spots with 150 points. Meanwhile in the Constructors’ Championships, Red Bull Racing have already managed to secure the championship for the second consecutive season.
