Recent Grand Prix Events
The 2022 French Grand Prix recently concluded with Dutch driver Max Verstappen finishing on top for Red Bull. Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc came close to finishing on top but crashed out of the race on lap 17.
The unfortunate slip-up helped Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell finish second and third, respectively. However, Ferrari wasn’t at a total loss as companion driver Carlos Sainz bagged the fastest lap.
The victory marked Verstappen’s 27th career win, while it was Hamilton’s first second-place finish of the entire season. Similarly, George Russell improved his position in the Drivers’ Championship, closing in closely behind Sainz for the third spot with just a point behind.
