The 2022 Formula One season is coming to a conclusion, with just two Grand Prix events remaining. Sergio Perez of Red Bull Racing has revealed that he will wear the unique Wakanda Forever-designed helmet at the F1 Brazilian Grand Prix, which begins on November 13. The unique design of the helmet is inspired by the upcoming Marvel movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The film will be a sequel to the original Black Panther film, which was released in 2008.

One of the reasons Perez chose to wear the unique helmet inspired by Marvel’s upcoming film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever might be due to his friendship with Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta. The film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released on November 11, two days before the Brazilian Grand Prix. Perez’s helmet is one of the film’s marketing team’s bold promotional moves.

However, Perez is not the only one who has referred to the Black Panther film. Back at the Belgian Grand Prix in 2020, Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton made a reference to the Black Panther film series, dedicating his pole position lap to lead actor Chadwick Boseman, who had died the day before.

The Brazilian GP is going to be crucial for Sergio Perez

The F1 Brazilian Grand Prix will take place on November 13th, and Perez will be hoping to earn P2. In terms of the current Formula One standings, Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez hold both first and second positions. With a record 14 victories, Max Verstappen has already been crowned the 2022 F1 world champion. While Sergio Perez is only five points ahead of McLaren’s Charles Leclerc in the standings. Perez and Leclerc are both experienced drivers, with the former having a faster vehicle and the latter having the most talent in the race. The competition between the two will be both difficult and entertaining to witness.
