As per the official website of Formula One, the F1 season 2025 will maintain the same 24-race schedule, with 6 sprints. Pre-season testing of F1 2025 will take place in Bahrain from February 26-28.
However, officially the campaign will kick off with the Australian Grand Prix on March 14-16, marking the first time since 2019. The season will conclude in Abu Dhabi on December 7, 2025.
Pre-season testing will held in Bahrain, and the upcoming season will mark the 5th consecutive year Bahrain hosts testing, despite the opener moving to Australia.
Albert Park’s return as the season opener comes after traditionally holding this role since 1996, with the last such instance in 2019 before Covid-19 pandemic disruptions.
The 2025 season adjusts to accommodate Ramadan, which runs from March 1-30. As a result, the Middle East rounds will take place in April, following races in Australia, China, and Japan.
The Chinese Grand Prix is scheduled for March 21-23 as a sprint weekend, followed by a two-week break before Japan’s Suzuka Grand Prix on April 4-6. Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will host rounds four and five, respectively.
