2023 Formula One season predictions
As things stand, it’s difficult to see anyone winning past Max Verstappen and Red Bull in the new F1 season. Mercedes have the highest chances if they can continue their positive form during the second half of last season. Moreover, the German team have Lewis Hamilton who has vast experience and are the only side strong enough to pose a threat to Red Bull.
Ferrari will also be an interesting team with a new team principle, Alfa Romeo’s Frédéric Vasseur. The new team in the look backroom could set up their driver Charles Leclerc for a great season ahead. Leclerc picked up a lot of points last season, but he was left extremely frustrated with poor reliability of his car as well as his team’s constant strategic blunders during race days.
Meanwhile, the 3 second-drivers of the teams stated above, Sergio Perez, George Russell, and Carlos Sainz, will all be looking for a P1 finfish and take their careers to the next level.
French team Alpine could offer up a challenge to the top three constructors following their car’s lightning speed last season. Meanwhile Aston Martin recently added Fernando Alonso to their ranks, which will definitely give the team a boost.
