The F1 2023 season looks to better put into use the new technical regulations introduced in 2022, check out the upcoming calendar details.
New F1 Regulations
The 2022 F1 season featured new technical regulations coupled with tighter budgets and less design freedom. Although the cars in the 2022 season allowed for better overtaking action, the grid was well spread out compared to the 2021 season.
Red Bull and Ferrari were the two teams who triumphed with the new rules. Red Bull in particular recorded a comfortable title double. However, the team is set to face even more restricted wind tunnel time due to a budget cap breach back in 2021. The new 2023 season might indeed prove to be a tricky season for Max Verstappen’s side.

Given below is the list of confirmed F1 2023 season car names, the rest are TBC:

F1 2023 Pre-Season Testing, TV Telecast, Schedule
Notably, the F1 2023 season will feature only three days of pre-season testing, which is exactly half of last season. This season, Bahrain will be the sole F1 2023 pre-season testing venue. The pre-season testing is set to take place from February 23-25, which is the week before the start of the season.
Fans can expect the usual two four-hour intervals per day format for the test. Moreover, teams will get to run just the one car on the track throughout any given time. So far, there have been no confirmations on whether or not the pre-season will be televised.
Last season the Bahrain test was televised in the UK and Ireland on Sky Sports F1, and on F1TV Pro.
Given below is the Bahrain test schedule:
- Thursday, February 23 – Day 1 – Bahrain International Circuit
- Friday, February 24 – Day 2 – Bahrain International Circuit
