But the Indian squad took the field today for an important clash wearing a somewhat different version of their uniform which piqued the attention of the major section of the audience from all parts of the country. Now, you might be asking why at this point why it has been changed.

Why Did Jersey Of Team India Change For CWG 2022?
The men’s and women’s Indian cricket teams are seen sporting jerseys bearing the BCCI logo because they are employed by the organization. Similar to that, this jersey features the names and logos of BCCI’s sponsors.
However, while competing in the Commonwealth Games or any other competition, such as the Olympics or Asian Games, players take the field using their country’s name rather than the name of their individual federation.
As a result, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian team competed in the ongoing and forthcoming games sporting the Commonwealth Games logo and maybe taking home some medals.

India is inscribed in the centre of the new outfit that the Indian women’s cricket team will wear at CWG 2022, and there are two logos on either side of the chest. The official emblem for the Indian team is on the right, while JSW’s logo is the official shirt sponsor on the left.
