No Nut November: What is it?
The annual No Nut November campaign urges males to go 30 days without ejaculating or bursting a nut as it is known in some circles. Ejaculation is not permitted, whether it is done with a partner or on your own.
No Nut November origin and history
This particular challenge has its roots in the year 2011. This is the first entry for the challenge that has been seen on sites like Reddit and 4chan. It has become a very common practice with very rigorous regulations (as outlined in Urban Dictionary).
Which are:
- You are not allowed to engage in any sort of masturbation, sex, or nudity.
- It is acceptable to consume boners and watch porn, but not nuts.
- There can be only one wet dream per person. You should be eliminated if you have more than one.
- You only get one chance at it; you don’t get three strikes. You’re out if you miss it.
- You are a winner if you finished the month with a grand total of 0 nuts, and you will be eligible to enjoy Destroy Dick December (Not Recommended)
Is counting November without nuts bad for you?
Dr Rena Malik, a urologist, provides information about No Nut November on her YouTube channel. Malik adds that the practice of not emitting any emissions is a long-standing phenomenon.
She claims that semen retention was explored as a method of self-control in ancient Taoist literature. They held the opinion that ejaculating represented a loss of self-control while keeping it in was a means of enhancing bodily control and wellness.
However, this does not necessarily imply that it is a wise choice.
