Besides the new currency change, developers have also made some changes in the in-game item prices.
What Are Legacy Credits In Overwatch 2?
Instead of Overwatch credits, Overwatch 2 players will now be able to purchase Overwatch coins, which they can use to convert to Overwatch legacy credits.
Existing Overwatch players who swap over to Overwatch 2, will notice that they now have Legacy Credits as well as any new Overwatch Coins.
While players can still use Legacy Coins in Overwatch 2, they can only use them to buy content from the previous game.
For example, players cannot use Legacy Coins to buy battle passes and any new cosmetics exclusive to Overwatch 2.
However, Players can still use Legacy Coins to buy legacy skins and cosmetics, which players can still use in the new updated version.
Revised Items Price List
Fans should note that Overwatch 2 has more than doubled the price of legacy cosmetics and skins in some cases thanks to their premium bundles.
Given below are some of the item prices that have increased in Overwatch 2:
- Rare Skins which were 75 in Overwatch now cost 300 in Overwatch 2
- Epic Skins which cost 250 in Overwatch, will now cost 1,000 in Overwatch 2
- Legendary Skins that cost 1,000 in Overwatch will now cost 1,900 in Overwatch 2
- Victory Poses which cost 75 in Overwatch, are now priced at 300 in Overwatch 2
- Emotes which cost 250 in Overwatch, now cost 500 in Overwatch 2
