If you used both PlayStation and Xbox to play the first game, you can link your profiles from these platforms to one primary battle.net account to transfer all of your skins to the follow-up. Simply adhere to the directions listed below, which Blizzard provided in their cross-progression blog post:

  • Register an account on Overwatch using your console.
  • To scan a QR Code on your smartphone, adhere to the on-screen instructions.
  • To sign up for a Battle.net account or connect to an existing one, enter the code that appears on your console.

Once finished, you’ll be asked to authenticate your account when you log in to the game for the next time in order to merge your accounts.

Be aware that you can only link one battle.net account to one profile per platform. For instance, you are unable to link two different Overwatch accounts on the PlayStation to the same battle.net account.
