A recent example of this is the alleged clip of famous cricketer Hardik Pandya who went viral on various social media platforms. In the video, it is alleged that Hardik Pandya is abusing the current caption of the Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma.
And now, in response to this, many people are expressing their opinions on the matter and they also started trending #Hardikabusedrohit on Twitter. While the tweet was started by criticising Hardik, some Rohit haters were also involved in this and started posting in favour of Hardik.
The hashtag becomes trendy in no time and now many renowned personalities are also reacting to it. So, let’s find out more about it:
Why #Hardikabusedrohit Is Trending?
During the second T20 International against England on Saturday (July 9), according to a startling video going viral on Twitter, Hardik Pandya allegedly hurled nasty remarks at Indian captain Rohit Sharma.
Pandya can be heard being appalled by the use of DRS and how it is handled on the pitch during the swap of overs in the video that is viral with the hashtag #HardikabusedRohit.
Pandya is heard in the footage instructing Rohit to concentrate on him and not anywhere else when it comes to DRS discussions, while he was bowling. In the footage, Pandya was heard saying to Rohit,
Look at me when it’s my turn with the ball (for DRS interventions). You don’t need to give a f**k to whatever they (rest of the fielders) have to say.
The Reality Behind The Video
The event occurred during the last match of the 3-match T20I series against England at Edgbaston, following the conclusion of Hardik Pandya’s first over.
Some fan accounts are circulating false information about the viral clip depicting Pandya abusing Rohit by citing it as evidence. However, it is obvious that Pandya was just advising Rohit to disregard what other people thought when a DRS involves his bowling.
The bowler only wanted his skipper to ignore everyone else and turn all of his attention onto him since he was dissatisfied with the conflicting opinions that were obstructing India’s understanding of the DRS process.
However, the video garnered surprising responses from viewers across Twitter using the trending hashtag #Hardikabusedrohit.
