Saturday saw 16 second-round matches split into two sessions. Heta delivered an outstanding performance, boasting the third-highest average in European Tour history. Notably, Heta defeated Mickey Mansell 6-2 with an impressive 117.48 average, clinching victory with four 11-darters despite Mansell’s 104 average.
In the evening session, Gary Anderson defeated Christian Perez to seal his berth in the third round and Gerwyn Price emerged victorious against Brendan Dolan to achieve the same feat. Furthermore, reigning champion Rob Cross triumphed over Martin Schindler in a thrilling last-leg match, surviving two match darts to halt Schindler’s attempt at securing consecutive European Tour titles.

2024 European Darts Grand Prix: prize money pool distribution
Reports state that the winner of the 2024 European Darts Grand Prix will earn £30,000 from a total prize pool of £175,000. Meanwhile, the runner-up will receive £12,000 and each semi-final loser will receive £8,500. Following his second round loss against Humphries, Luke Littler will exit the event with prize of £2,500.
