Four host countries—the Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy, and Germany—will host games. Starting on Thursday and continuing through September 18, the 24-nation competition. EuroBasket has to be postponed until 2022 as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak forcing the 2020 Olympic Games to be moved to 2021.
Goran Dragic, the MVP, and 18-year-old wonderkid Luka Doncic helped Slovenia win its first EuroBasket in 2017, which helped them become the current champion. A year later, Doncic was selected third overall in the NBA Draft and signed with the Dallas Mavericks. Since then, he has developed into one of the league’s most exciting young players.
