For the unversed, the contract negotiations between Esteban Ocon and Haas F1 team have been going on for weeks now! However, earlier today reports surfaced claiming that the two parties has seemed to reach an agreement.

As per the reports the 27-year-old Frenchman has signed a multi-year contract with the F1 team.
Previous reports indicate that Audi has also shown interest in the Alpineโs racing driver. However, their top priority remained Carlos Sainz.
Let us remind you, ahead of the last monthโs Canadian Grand Prix, reports started surfacing suggesting that Ocon would probably be leaving Alpine after spending 5 seasons with the team.
Contract Details
Though as of now there isnโt much information available about Esteban Oconโs contract details with Haas. However, reports claims that the first-time Grand Prix winner has agreed to multi-year deal with the team.

With the signing of Esteban Ocon, the professional driver has now replaced Kevin Magnussen in the teamโs lineup.
Although nothing is confirmed, but reports claims that Ocon will team up with Bearman at least till the end of 2026 as sources indicate that Bearmanโs contract last with Haas for two more years, the same as Ocon.
While Ocon’s salary at Haas isn’t known yet, he signed a 3 year contract with Alpine, including $31 signing bonus, and in 2024, Ocon will earn a base salary of $6,000,000. His net worth stands at $21 million.

For the unfamiliar, Ocon, whose full name is Esteban Josรฉ Jean-Pierre Ocon-Khelfane, professionally known as Esteban Ocon, was born on September 17, 1996 in รvreux, France.
The Frenchman currently competes for Alpine as a F1 driver. He got his first memorable F1 win in 2021 at the Hungarian Grand prix. In addition, he also made headlines for finishing on the podium in Monaco last year.

Meanwhile, Haas seemed to be having a strong season with 20 points across Austria and Great Britain.
They are even 18 points ahead of Alpine in the Constrictorsโ championship and are 4 points behind RB in the P6 battle. The team is heading for a double-header at Budapest.
