Erik Ten Hag And Manchester United Are Disappointed With Cristiano Ronaldo Interview With Piers Morgan
After United’s 2-1 victory against Fulham, snippets of the 90-minute TV interview surfaced on social media, with Ronaldo alleging he feels “betrayed” by the way he has been treated at Old Trafford. Additionally, it seems that the 37-year-old has severed ties with United manager Erik ten Hag, saying he does not have respect for him since Erik doesn’t show respect to him.
Ronaldo has made it known that he wants to leave the team as soon as possible. It’s difficult to imagine him joining the Red Devils once more, especially under Ten Hag.

How did Ten Hag respond to the interview with Ronaldo?
The approach and timing of Ronaldo’s interview left Ten Hag and the Man United players very upset, according to Sky Sports’ chief reporter Kaveh Solhekol. In a series of tweets, Solhekol claims that United was unaware of the interview until they were getting ready to board a flight from London after their match at Craven Cottage on Sunday night.
In the club’s final game before the 2022 World Cup begins this weekend, youngster Alejandro Garnacho secured all three points for Man Utd at the very end.
How much more do we know?
According to Solhekol, United will likely now weigh all of their Ronaldo-related possibilities. The journalist claims that the players and management are really disappointed that he insulted the team, his manager, and teammates in this manner and that they don’t understand why he said all of those things.
Additionally, according to Solhekol, Ronaldo informed on Thursday that he would not be starting for United against Fulham but would still be a member of the squad as the five-time Ballon d’Or winner disclosed his illness to the team.
Everyone at United is reported to have treated Ronaldo with respect, even when he sought to leave the team in the summer and when he refused to be a substitute against Tottenham last month.
Ronaldo must perform well in Qatar.
Ronaldo may find it more difficult than he anticipates to convince one of Europe’s elite teams to sign him in January given his dubious actions this season, his advancing years, and his unimpressive recent performances.
However, there’s a good probability that if he does well while representing Portugal at the World Cup in Qatar, interest in his services will increase significantly. Portugal’s World Cup campaign gets underway on November 24 against Ghana, followed by matches against Uruguay (November 28) and South Korea (December 1). (December 2).
