Enock Mwepu’s Family And Education

Enock’s younger brother Francisco Mwepu is also a professional football player. He was born to Robby Mwepu and Emmalle Mwepu. He is married to Matilda Mwepu. Because of their poor financial status Enock couldn’t attend a good University, he attended a local school. He is 6ft tall and his weight is 78 kg as of 2022 with him aged 24.

Enock Mwepu Professional Career

Enock Mwepu started his professional with Kafue Celtic in Lusaka before being identified with the year 2013 Airtel Rising Stars. During 2015 to 2016 season, Enock Mwepu had little game time with Power Dynamos football club of Copperbelt; this precipitated into a move to NAPSA Stars at the end of the 2016 season.

In June of year 2017, Enock Mwepu joined Red Bull Salzburg and was loaned out to Salzburg’s feeder club Liefering who plays in the Austrian Football First League. During 2019 and 2020 season, Mwepu had established himself amongst Salzburg’s starting eleven. Enock made his debut in the UEFA Champions League during a 4 by 3 loss to Liverpool at Anfield. On the 18th of December in year 2019, Mwepu extended his contract with Salzburg until summer till 2024.

In year 2014 Mwepu was part of the Zambia national under-17 team that represented the country at the African Under-17 Championship held in 2015, where Zambia played Niger, Nigeria, and Guinea from group A.

Enock Mwepu scored his one of the first international goals for Zambia in an AFCON Qualifier against Algeria on 2nd of September in 2017 at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka, a match which Zambia won 3–1.
