Elisah Spencer who now faces criminal charges against him after attacking Seth Rollins at WWE Monday Night RAW has opened up on why he did so
The bygone edition of WWE Monday Night Raw was marred by unprecedented visuals as a fan ended up jumping the barricades to spar with Seth Rollins.
Rollins who was returning backstage after downing Finn Balor during his segment was attacked midway by a fan. 24 year old Elisah Spencer was seen landing a spear on Rollins which him managing to clobber Rollins as he caught the WWE wrestler in a grip.

It required a bunch of referees and security officials to separate the two before Rollins was able to wriggle free and get back on his feet. The entire attack was caught live on broadcast with the fan eventually arrested and charged with attempted assault and attempted violation of arts and cultural affairs.

Spencer who will now appear in court come December for a hearing in the case has revealed that he orchestrated the attack after being scammed out of money by someone who claimed to be Seth Rollins online. The 24 year old believed Rollins to be behind the misdemeanor with his rage leading to him assault the superstar. He told the police that he still believes that Rollins is behind the scam.
“It’s terrifying, brother. It happened very quickly. I was mostly just reacting and hoping that our security would come and do their job. Which they did very quickly. And then was just trying to detach and move on. Hope that everybody is OK,” Rollins said meanwhile after being quizzed on the attack.
